DRBF CICA

In May 2025, industry leaders gathered in Washington, DC for the second Industry Stakeholders Roundtable, co-hosted by the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) and the Confederation of International Contractors’ Associations (CICA). The event convened more than 30 representatives from 16 leading institutions, with a shared mission: to advance the effectiveness and adoption of Dispute Boards in international construction and infrastructure projects.

Our Founding Partner, Yasemin Çetinel, took part in the Washington mission, proudly representing the DRBF within its joint delegation with CICA.

Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 event, this year’s roundtable marked the launch of a new position paper addressing the practical challenges of Dispute Board implementation. Participants also engaged in group discussions to explore solutions for enhancing DB effectiveness. The program concluded a week of high-level DRBF meetings with development banks, reinforcing collaboration on global infrastructure projects.

For clients and industry stakeholders, the impact is clear: Dispute Boards are becoming an increasingly vital tool for risk management and dispute avoidance.
